Project Title: Complete Furniture Manufacturing for the Luxury Windu Sari Villa, Bali
- Client: Windu Sari Villa, Petitenget
- Location: Bali, Indonesia
- Scope: Full-scope bespoke furniture manufacturing for a five-bedroom luxury villa, including loose furniture, built-ins, and decorative lighting.
The Brief: Achieving Elegant Tranquility on a Practical Budget
The management of Windu Sari Villa, an elegant five-bedroom estate in the heart of Bali’s fashionable Petitenget district, approached us with a comprehensive furnishing project. The goal was to manufacture a wide range of furniture that would align with the villa’s tagline of being a “tranquil haven,” requiring pieces that were both aesthetically beautiful and durable enough for the high standards of the luxury rental market.
A key part of the brief was the client’s need to adhere to a specific project budget. This required a strategic approach to material selection without compromising on quality or the overall guest experience.
The extensive project scope included:
- Lobby Furniture: Sofa, coffee table, TV cabinet, and a full-size room divider.
- Bedroom Furniture: Beds, bedside tables, writing desks, and custom built-in wardrobes.
- Bathroom Furniture: Vanities and mirrors.
- Dining table and chairs.
- Poolside Furniture: A set of durable sun loungers.
- Decorative Lighting: Large-scale decorative hanging and standing lamps.
Our Solution: A Strategic Partnership in Material Selection and Manufacturing
Our solution was a masterclass in collaborative manufacturing, working closely with the client to meet their vision and budget.
- Strategic Material Grading: This was the cornerstone of the project’s success. To meet the client’s budget, we developed a mixed-grade material strategy.
- For high-visibility, high-use items like the lobby furniture, dining set, and bed frames, we used high-quality Grade B heartwood teak to ensure a premium look and feel.
- For hidden or structural items, such as internal wardrobe frames or bathroom vanities, we utilized Grade C teak. Crucially, we ensured this Grade C timber was perfectly kiln-dried to our exacting standards to guarantee its long-term stability and durability. This transparent, strategic approach allowed the client to achieve their aesthetic goals while remaining within their budget.
- Full-Scope Production: Our facility handled the entire manufacturing process, from the creation of large case goods like the built-in wardrobes and room dividers to the delicate assembly of decorative lighting. This ensured a consistent level of quality and finish across every single item in the villa.
- Finishing and Environmental Considerations: For the entire collection, we utilized a premium water-based finishing material. This modern approach offers several key advantages for a luxury hospitality project: it is significantly safer for the environment with low VOCs (volatile organic compounds), and it is virtually odorless. This ensures a more pleasant and healthier experience for the villa’s guests immediately upon installation.
The Result: A Complete Turnkey Solution for a Luxury Property
We successfully manufactured and delivered the entire furniture collection, providing a complete turnkey solution that brought the client’s vision for a tranquil, elegant haven to life. This project stands as a testament to our ability to work flexibly with clients, engineering smart material solutions to meet specific budgets without ever sacrificing the quality and craftsmanship that our brand represents. The final installation showcases a beautiful, cohesive interior that is built to last.
