When a new luxury resort is under construction, every day counts. The pressure to meet the grand opening date is immense. In this high-stakes environment, a furniture partner must be more than just a supplier; they must be a logistical problem-solver, capable of delivering premium quality under the most challenging conditions.

This was the story of our partnership with Tjendana Lovina Beach Club & Resort, a new high-end, modern tropical destination on the shores of Lovina Beach, Bali. The project was a test of both premium craftsmanship and our ability to execute a flawless installation within a live construction zone.

The Client’s Vision: Modern Tropical Durability

Tjendana Lovina’s brand is built on a high-end, minimalist aesthetic, blending modern luxury with the natural beauty of the beach. Their core requirement was simple: they needed furniture that not only matched this sophisticated vision but was durable enough to withstand the demanding coastal environment.

For the restaurant, terraces, and lobby—all exposed to sun, humidity, and salt air—this requirement pointed to one clear material choice: 100% Grade A Indonesian Teak.

The Naramulya Solution: A Partnership in Engineering & Logistics

This project showcased the two sides of our B2B partnership: our material expertise and our logistical excellence.

Part 1: The Furniture (Craft & Material Expertise)

The client provided the design vision, and our team provided the technical expertise. We collaborated closely with their designers, suggesting modifications to their drawings to enhance long-term structural integrity and ensure we could manufacture their vision to our high construction standards.

The Lobby: This was the resort’s first impression. We manufactured multiple sets of plush lounge sofas and chairs, console tables, and a striking, round accent table. The centerpiece was the main reception desk, a substantial piece that instantly communicates the resort’s quality and style.

The Restaurant & Terrace: This is where the challenge of mixed materials came to life. The key pieces included:

  • Beach-Facing Sofas: A set of long, custom-built dining sofas, designed for guests to relax and dine while facing the ocean.
  • Dining Sets: Multiple dining tables and chair sets, including custom 80x80cm tables for smaller groups.
  • Teak & Marble: The client’s design called for many of the dining tables to feature a teak frame with a marble inlay. While there was a concern about using marble for outdoor use, our team engineered the solution, ensuring the marble was properly sealed and securely mounted within the teak frame to handle exposure to the elements.

Part 2: The Challenge (Logistical Excellence)

This is where our value as a B2B partner was truly tested. The challenge was twofold:

  1. The Tight Deadline: The resort had a fixed grand opening date, leaving no room for delays.
  2. The Live Construction Zone: The main building was still in progress. We were not delivering to clean, finished rooms. We had to install high-end furniture (including heavy marble tables and upholstered sofas) in an active, dusty, and chaotic construction environment.

Our solution was to become an integrated part of the on-site construction team. We deployed a specialized Naramulya assembly team to Lovina. Their mission was not just to build, but to protect. We coordinated daily with the general contractor, carefully maneuvering and assembling pieces in designated “safe” zones. Our team meticulously protected the finished furniture from dust, building materials, and damage, ensuring every piece was pristine for the opening.

The Final Result: A Luxury Resort, Ready for Opening

By treating the client’s problem as our own, Naramulya successfully delivered and installed the entire furniture collection on time, navigating the complex on-site challenges without incident.

The final product was a stunning, durable, and comfortable furniture collection that perfectly matched the client’s high-end vision. Most importantly, our logistical management ensured that the furniture was a solution, not a problem, allowing Tjendana Lovina to open its doors to guests as planned.
