It’s heartbreaking to see the amount of wood wasted in furniture manufacturing – roughly 60% – often ending up in landfills or compost. We’re committed to doing things differently.
Our teak furniture is designed with a zero-waste goal in mind, maximizing the use of every part of the plank, including the small offcuts that would normally be discarded.
We take those smaller offcuts and scraps, carefully select the best pieces, and then precisely cut and assemble them. It takes time and dedication, but we’re so proud to create beautiful furniture that’s also good for the planet.
So, is it a good idea to make furniture from waste wood? In our case, it definitely is! We work exclusively with teak, a wood famous for its incredible durability.
This naturally rot-resistant wood is perfect for crafting lasting furniture. It’s a meticulous undertaking, but the final product—beautiful, sustainable furniture—makes it all worthwhile.
